(July 2023) How to spawn specific ID's Instructions
Since this mod is commonly used to spawn specific ID's and eventually the comment threads might get buried I'll dump this here.

In order to spawn a specific creature ID, you must write:

spawn CREATURE ID.-1.XXXX

Where CREATURE is the specific in-code name of the creature
(usually speaks for itself, but can also be found on the wiki)
and XXXX is the ID number.

So, as an example, If I want to spawn a slugpup with ID 5009, I'd write:

spawn SlugNPC ID.-1.5009

NOTE THAT ITS CASE SENSITIVE! MAKE SURE YOU'RE TYPING IT CORRECTLY

i wanna spawn a slugpup and write creature as slugNPC but it says unknown object or creature;( or just because the id of the slugpup is five digits so it cannot find

ok never mind but when i try to spawn something else like a green lizard is just gives me "Sorry command not found:
are you using the , key or the . key?

yeah i am following exactly and it saying unknown species or creature try: greenlizard even though greenlizard is what i was typing

You need to open the dev console, which by default is bound to the ` (~) key. This is the key below your "escape" key.

Make sure you are careful with the capitalisation. It is case-sensitive. not slugNPC- SlugNPC

same goes for you-It is case-sensitive not greenlizard, GreenLizard.

I tried on my end and the mod still works no problem. I'll add to the main post that its case sensitive for future reference

i believe so, you'd want to use the command to spawn objects/items instead of creatures and match the ID. I havent personally spawned in specific items so im not 100% sure if it works the same though!

Every time i try to spawn a scavenger it says " Unknown object or creature type: scavenger"

i have tried getting a specific jetfish - 55097. typed in - spawn JetFish ID. -1 5597. what am i doing wrong?
