hahaha i dont think they should be removed (the car one YES!). Rocket npc add a good diversity. Just nerf accuracy, limited ammo and rate of fire. You even should add more weapon diversity for npc. :)

in my experience RL NPCs half the time end up blowing themselves up if they are next to or inside some structure or if their line of fire is fully/partially blocked when i am elsewhere doing something else, as for the rocket car.. i only encountered it a few times which is when i was unprepared and unequipped to deal with them properly, also one time i had an APC encounter and all of the 5 people inside were carrying rocket launchers... good thing i had cover all around between them that was head height so i just turned my inventory into a warhead backpack afterwards (NPCs cant aim at you if the cover between them and you is around head height)

also, i think explosives overall dont work that well, some weapons like the stationary ones you find at big checkpoint areas most the time i tried dont do damage, but instead give massive knockback to enemies if you hit your shot right. once i managed to launch a boss straight off the map using them

Try playing hardest difficulty. Then you will change mind for rockets launchers. Every time i hear or see a rocket npc, he is straight up my #1 must kill.
They never miss a shot, blow your cover, stun, one shot you.... Perfectly balanced :D :P

even then, i dont think ill have that much trouble with them since i always take long range engagements whenever feasible, which includes shooting them outside of their detection range

I was just thinking about how Rocket NPC's are the scariest thing in the game because of how unreliably accurate they are, most of my encounters with them have rockets careening around at random as I know that everytime one of them fires, SOMETHING is getting blown up, and it's usually not me.

I just looted a tank and destroyed it with HE shells lol
