Manhunter mental state failure
So, I commented some time ago about the manhunter tag not functioning properly. I believe I know understand why. I still need to check, so. If it happens I am, I'm not sure I'll remember to report back, so here is my possibly wrong hypothesis.
So, I discovered that, if there are no manhunters on the map, the mod does not display "manhunter" among the mental states.
My idea is that there would be several separate "Manhunter" tags/properties or whatever it's called with the very same "Manhunter" name, for some reason.
So, when I set up the query for the first time some manhunter beast appeared on my map, I created a query searching for that specific manhunter tag.
Then some time later, another manhunter beast appears with some other manhunter tag with the same name, it doesn't fit the exact tag, just the name and the search fails. Oblivious to this, I rant in front of my screen about that damn "bug", edit the search, select the manhunter name again, so the tag in my request is matching the one on the map, deleting the previous tag. And then another manhunter happens some time after that, with yet another tag with the same "Manhunter" name, and I rant again and change it again.
I just tried to add a filter grouping instead, adding the hypothetical new tag to check if this idea is the right one. If there are only two manhunter tags, I should be good. There are probably more, as the tags fail more often than they succeed when some new manhunter threat arise.
If this solves my problem, it will mean it's not a search problem, but an interface problem, or maybe a duplicate problem within the game.
There also is a possibility that these tags are created and deleted on the fly. It would explain why they don't show when there are currently no manhunter present. They would be created in such a way that it might show some difference from an occurrence to the next. If so, my attempts will fail whatever I do. Or maybe I'm wrong and it's yet something else entirely.

So, I'm back. It seems I was right. Unless there are rarer types, there are two types of manhunter tags.
