If you're crashing on startup and you subscribed to the mod via Paradox Mods website then I have the fix for you!

The problem apparently is subscribing to any mod from the actual website is what causes most of the crashes (Which I've encountered with many mods so far, whileas some do work) I suggest subscribing to it from workshop. If you do not want to subscribe from workshop for whatever reason then download the mod manually on the Paradox Website and move the mod to Documents>Paradox>Mods. Hopefully this helped as it helped for me.
