Suggestion
Could we get a sandbox option for loot rarity,similar to vanilla? and the option to disable loot on zombies?

Hey! So default loot rarity settings should affect the items in the mod, as they're 'normal' type items. But this is something I was considering adding in specific to the mod, I just wanted to get the mod out first and see what people thought before putting another week into it. (I work a lot, limited time to do mod stuff).

Have you put the loot on ultra-rare and found that my items spawn in too often?

except weapons i have everything on rare,and that seems to be to frequent i don't mind finding items in containers that's ok,but it's way to many on zombies that;s whay i asked if we can get the option to disable it

Hmm. Do you have a count of how many you've killed vs how many things you've found? As of right now, it's like 1/200 for notes, 1/800 chance for magazines, 1/1200 for books or something like that. And that's for the grindey skills. The easy skills are even more rare yet. I'll do some more testing and see what I can do though, I had considered this anyway lol.

Well i did not do a count but i found around 6-7 fisherman notes and killed around 20-30 zombies maybe,i am not on my pc right now to check exactly but that's number approximately

I did a bit of testing, I think you're right, it's pretty high. I though 1/200 was low but I guess not hahah. Probably gonna reduce the spawn rate to half what it is now and allow the sandbox settings to give multipliers. However.. That is going to take substantial effort, just FYI hahah. All the values are hard-coded so they all need updated from the 2 or 3 they're at to variable values, which hopefully I can just do a find and replace all from the "2);" to "variable);" but, no telling how well that'll go lol.

no problem take your time,also consider adding a option to disable zombie loot completely if possible

Awesome concept and a welcome addition to my mod list, Some suggestions, Possibly add compatibility with "Has Been Read" so we can mark books/notes that we have collected, Also might be a bug but when we read things it gets renamed to Skill literature instead of the book name (possible bug not sure)

Hey! So it's not like the normal skill books. You can collect 10 of the same book and read all the books, and they convert to the "read literature" cause they're one-use items :) It's like reading comic books, except you get something when you're done.

And dtoxic, that would actually be a lot easier. I suppose I should have tailored it to giving more options for the sandbox folks, huh? hahah

Alrighty, added sandbox settings to the mod. You should be able to set it to 0.5 or 0.25 to make the items more rare in either corpses or world containers. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I've been reading up on the issue. I don't think that it's a percentage type deal like I initially thought. I have to do some experimenting and testing, but pretty sure anything under 1 is just rounding up to 1 and it's not registering it as a "percent." That's my lack of understand of the game's code, unfortunately, but I'm working on it!

0.5 SEEMS to work on random zombies mod for sprinters but I can't be certain. I'll test it. Maybe that's the only below 1 that works.
