Arena [spoiler]
I'm at the last fight in the arena. The few previous ones. i succeed more by luck and perseverance than by the power of my character

But the last one I don't understand seems completely impossible. Did we find more tools to help us?

It is normal that I have the feeling my mage starts to be completely useless with this DPS?

I am at the last one too and thought the same, I was completely taken aback. I am at another boss fight in another zone and it also feels completely hopeless, maybe if I used 50 potions per guy I could scrape by, but fights are ramping up faster than my guys can keep up.

Last arena figth is for later levels, you can come back later.

Am I supposed to be using things like frost bombs all the time? The game forces me to tank and the later monsters can 1 or 2 hit you no problem. For example the red slimes in the temple of elements or the boss fight there for what I believe is the water element? That several elementals come out at the same time, haven't figured how to do that one yet.

Arena level 8 is not very hard at later level. Get into corner and use Force field and fight 1vs1.
