Hi, I originally posted this on the Auto Extract Genes mod, but the author there is saying this might be to do with this mod instead.

With both yours and their mod running, I get bombed with Hello World messages:

Yes that was indeed me. Sorry, I just forgot to remove a debugging message. It should be fixed now.

Thank you! The message is now gone, but unfortunately I'm still getting mad lag when using both Gene Extractor Weights and Auto Extract Genes. I guess they are just incompatible right now?

I implemented the performance improvements I talked about on the other thread. May you give it a run and tell me if it improved?

I tested it again - Before my last update, their method took 300 milliseconds on my largest colony, which is unacceptable. After the update, it's at 1 millisecond, which isn't noticeable at all. Are you sure Steam pulled the update before you tested it?

I have a bug: When you someone into the extractor the process will never end. The timer counts into the negative and never ends. When you manually cancel the process no gene will be extracted :/
So technically it's stuck right at the end of the process.

i have the same problem, the mod is unplayable in 1.6

Folks, this mod isn't updated to 1.6, you can't expect it to work in 1.6.
