I believe this is an unintended edit of Nobodies Game Start Characters

I noticed it because they are not wearing pants

Regarding to the missing texture ".\mods\Driftmetal Remnants\worker\tex\workerdrone_norm.dds is missing" error

I found out what was the issue.

workerdronehead HEAD is calling to those non existent texture files

I also see in the kenshi_info.log file this: "[error]: Invalid texture: mask_bodyhead2x2.dds. Likely an invalid resolution or format"

Hmm, honestly i am unsure why that problem occurs. All bots inside the mod call this texture, and it is placed and linked correctly inside the mod folder structure (on the main landing page basically). It is also set up as a quadratic .dds file and wasn't changed in over two years. If this caused a crash at start-up or similar, i am sure other people would have had reported this issue basically after me uploading the mod.
Did you get your version from elsewhere, or have manually edited the folder structure? Can you give me some more details on the crash?

Sorry I'm not very active on Steam since I use the GOG version of Kenshi, that said I have to manually rename mod's folders I download from Steam, aside from that little edit and fixing the nobodies start I haven't changed it at all.

BTW there is no crash from those errors, the mod seems to run quite well and I must praise you for the amazing job you did, it's only that these errors show up in the log files and it caught my attention and wanted to let you know.

Oh okay i thought you were running into crashes and stuff, that's a relief to hear! Yeah the log files can be a place of nightmares. The texture specified in there isn't actually used for any actual parts of the models, it's just that kenshi expects literally any .dds image in the texture slot for technical reasons. Don't worry too much about it, the game just skips these in the background.

Not sure if this is purely on my end, but when I load into the character creation screen for any of the driftmetal starts, it says that the models for every single one of the skeletons cannot be found.

I think something on the Walker's is consuming way too much resources, game hiccups when I try to follow them but works fine otherwise when focused on someone on the other side of the map. The walker I'm having this issue with is Walker 87

Edit: Nevermind, Kenshi was just overwhelming my computer and it kept desyncing even the charger.

All good, no worries! I have tried to be more or less in line with vanilla kenshi when it comes to model complexity, so the models should run on basically all rigs - If you ever run into performance issues with them though, let me know.

it would be cool to fix clipping issues with moded armor like jackets. For example, your oldworld service jacket goes through samurai pants, rag skirts, drifter's pants. I didn't test it on clothing pants, but i think it probably has same clipping problems.

Yes, that's unavoidable because kenshi has a very constrained base rig and no options to use shapekeys to offset it for this kind of armor. There is a reason why you can't wear a dustcoat with heavy armor pants either.
