Please continue your observations. Remember next time under what circumstances does the FPS drop? Location, stage, what ships are nearby? So that I can recreate a similar situation and test it.

I am sure this problem is not related to the Silent Hunter Sound mod, since this mod does not activate anything when it hits and detonates a torpedo. Rather, this single problem is caused by the convoy itself and the game as a whole. I haven't been able to reproduce anything like this. FPS is always different, depending on the environment and the number of objects in the game. Explosions create a lot of particles, which in turn causes a decrease in FPS.

CPU = AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Six Core
GPU = Nevidia RTX 2060
16GB RAM 3200 MhZ
TUF 470X Mainbord

That should not cause a problem to this game at high settings

Maybe a interference with other modes, still recomand u update your mod to 2021.1 Patch 21

Keep it up and we all will enjoy full release more.

My mod does not use scripts (only the standard sounds of the game are replaced), so it's not 100% about it. The problem is in some other mod or unity engine or game optimization.
