Is anyone working on a more accurately sized map with a smaller region?
One of the most immersive breaking issues with this project is that the scaling is completely off. So I'm curious if anyone is working on a smaller region that's more accurately sized. The biggest mistake I see with this map is that they tried to include everything instead of just focusing on the north sea or a smaller area. You can travel all the way to middle east in what seems like a weeks worth of travel time in game. The scale of the map being so squished irritates and pulls me out of any suspension of disbelief. Is anyone at all working on a smaller region like the just the north sea with a more accurately sized map. I want to enjoy this project but it makes no sense to include every single region. They really really should have just got a height map of the north sea would have been fine. The mod would be perfect it the map was the same size but a smaller region. And you could include every culture you have already as raiders or hired mercenaries. The decision to squish the map makes little sense kills the mod.

To travel across England by horse, it would depend on factors such as the horse’s breed, fitness, and the terrain. The average horse can travel 25-40 miles in a day, whereas endurance horses can travel up to 100 miles a day for up to three days. England’s length from north to south is approximately 600 miles.

If we consider an average horse’s daily travel distance of 25-40 miles, it would take around 15-24 days to travel across England. Current maps takes about 1 and half days of travel time

Idk if you know this bro, but there isnt even thirty days a months in this game. a bannerlord year is about 80 somethin days. scaling that down is about 5 days to cross the UK at the most longest time available. and 3 days at the shortest. Seems to me like the time to get around is pretty close on realistic movement speed. You might be tweakin a bit
