In all seriousness, the Carnival+ from the Scuffed Rework mod prevents stagger. If it was attributable, you might be able to do it, but at least you can get it down to the 1v1. I don't know if it's attributable, but the Silence Fragment (Seaborn from Arknights) mod has a triple revival passive. You can also survive 3 turns with C-Fervent Beats from the Reverse Library. I don't think the fight is possible, because the last one can just instantly stagger Angela due to having 11 speed dice, but that's how I got to the 1v1.
On top of that, I swear the "loaded gun" move (which reduces power by 3) is actually "The Beast" against counter dice; meaning it inflicts power null and lowers your min and max rolls by 3 as I can't roll more than like a 4 against them no matter what. All the strength and endurance feel worthless against that combat page when hoping my counter dice will win those clashes.
The health penalty doesn't matter since you're going to get tons of health at the start anyways, and the passive strength buffs help balance the fight out as your team dies.
I am unsure if it is intended but i tried making another nugget the solo unit (since you can equip different pages) but by the time i was about to go into the last AiB, the auto-death kicked in and killed the nugget since Angela was already dead
I'm going to assume Angela's the only one who cannot get hit by the auto-death due to the middle AiB already being...well, an AiB
I'm sure these have both been reported but I'll do my due diligence either way:
- You can intercept the pages which are supposed to not be redirectable by setting someone to clash with them and then canceling it while another librarian has a faster page targeting that speed dice. Abusing this was instrumental to beating it in its current state for me, I confess.
- AiB heals and purges all statuses/conditions from self the scene after an AiB died. I suspect something isn't ending the scene properly because whenever this happens, all emotion coins on librarians are left 'full' until after this all happens.
- The page that gives clashing dice -3 power reduce power by dramatically more when clashing with dice in the defense queue/counters. Another poster said somewhere that it's giving power null and -3 min/max and that seems consistent with what I'm seeing, but I've not rigorously tested enough to see if that's the case.
I was up until 1AM last night beating this abno and I enjoyed the bulk of my time doing it and I think with some tweaks (perhaps a higher number of dice to start with but only +1 speed dice per cycle? Or perhaps the inverse and let it start with a mountain of dice and lose 1 slot each time an AiB dies?) that'd ideally move it away from pidgeonholing a very specific solo counter build on Angela to beat it, it'd be in a good place.
In terms of strategy, the goal is to make Angela as op as possible so she can solo the last AiB. For passives, I used the shi association passive Kizuna, survivor from Rudolph's page, and if you are playing vanilla, remembrance from the carnival
(I had a passive from the Reverse Library mod on Angela - conversion-floor of social science - which is basically another Kizuna w/o the Hp nerf)
Before the 1v1, get Angela staggered at least 5 times. She will end up with 5 strength and endurance, each point from each time she gets stagger. She will naturally get an extra 4 str and end when the other allies die, leading to a total of 9 str and end by the time she is the only one left.
dump all the abnormality cards on Angela too, especially Yin and Yang pages. This gives her more light regen and other goodies that you don't want her to miss out on.
Once you are fighting the last AiB, try to counter the cards that inflicts feeble and deal half of Angela's stagger. Display of Affection should auto win with the extra 9 str, but avoid letting your counter dies clash against the page that lowers all dice rolls by 3 (Loaded Clip) and pages with large values (like Aim for The Heart). I would recommend using Our Galaxy against Loaded clip if you accidentally ate a Heart-piercing Bullet and need stagger res back. The rest you have to pray for good rng and not forgetting to counter problematic pages.
What I did is I gave Angela "Survivor" from Rudolph's page, "Lone Fixer" from Yuna's page and "The Blue Reverberation" from Argalia's page.
Survivor is a passive that gives you 1 Endurance and Strength permanently after being staggered, up to 5 times.
Lone fixer gives you 3 strength when you are the last one standing.
The Blue Reverberation makes you immune to ranged damage.
I also had someone use Pluto's page just to make Angela even more OP. Do not give Angela the light restoration page immediately since you need to stagger yourself for Rudolph's passive and that will quickly kill you! I gave Angela the speed contract just to make sure she could intercept any attack she needed to, but it probably didn't help that much. If you really want the light contract, have a teammate who does nothing swap contracts with Angela. Make sure Angela doesn't fulfill her contract before getting staggered five times. Then, swap contracts again so that Angela has the Light contract.
For Abnormaility cards, I chose Trauma, Barrier of Slime, Overgrowth, and Angel's Pendant. From my experience, you need to get those abno cards in that order. Additionally, you could do the Yin Yang strategy, but F it, we ball in this mf and I ain't no coward. I did all my setup in the first phase before anyone died, including healing Angela to 200hp with the Overgrowth card. Be warned if you use my Abno card strategy, you'll be pretty strong against any neutral attack but be very careful around the attacks that say "deal X stagger damage". That'll eat you alive.
The fight from then on is pretty standard. In the final part with the 1v1, you ignore all the ranged attacks and pick your clashes carefully. With your 8 strength, it's only a matter of time before you take them down. Just make sure you play your economy well! If you can get away with using Galaxy child to counter an attack, do it. Make sure you also use Shyness to keep your Light up. If you're ever at risk of dying, use your EGO cards as a last resort. Maybe I was just unlucky or made some mistakes I failed to realize, but almost every time I used an EGO card early, I ran out of light and couldn't protect myself anymore. Because of Angela's absurd health, you can actually afford to be staggered once as well.
Hope this helps
