This mod is a really awesome concept, Its really close to what Im looking for in my next game. Unfortunately there is a major lack of documentation from the author and he seems to have gone silent on answering any questions. So I spent my day trying to figure out how it works so hopfully I can answer everyones questions now.

-Radiation is tied to the climate system so when ever it passes a theshhold of fog intensity then it come into effect, thats what the mod description says as well. But I noticed in my testing that rain and snow by itself with no fog would give a bunch of lua errors. I dont know if this was a mistake but in the code there was a typo that once I fixed made rain and snow also have the radiation effect.

-Any none player made structure should protect you from the radiation as the code calls for the player to be outside at the same time.

-There is two types of protection, a HAZMAT suit and an improvised mask. The HAZMAT will last forever and there is no need for matience, the mask loses all of its condition within 1 game hour.

I tried testing getting cancer and doing a chemo treatment but I couldnt get there to make it work reason being is while outdoors you suffer burns from the radiation but whenever I was fully irridated you have to wait a while acording to the author to see the moodle but even if I went indoors I was still loosing health and burns kept randomly appearing, even using debug I had a hard time keeping up with how fast I was loosing health but turns out wearing the hazmat afterwards cured me completley even from the radiation sickness. These were just the major issues, I found a lot more.

Its unfortunate because the description fit with what I was looking for and seems to have a lot of people interested in it. If the author doesnt return to work on it then ill be taking up the mantle of this mod myself or start making one very similar to it within the next week. Stay tuned.
