Does this mod alter gameplay?
I mean, does it change any statistics or adds/removes werewolf effects? Anything like that?

No this mod was meant to make a more immersive feeling for the Dragonborn as a hybrid. Tales of lycanthorpy and moonlight tales and blood moon rising alter the effects and many others. This mod alters the player werewolf skin only.

The Ring of Hircine just adds the power to transform to a Werewolf once more per day. No conflicts with this one as it just changes the looks of the player model in Werewolf form.
