Brazil isn't anywhere close to the Federal form that the US, Canada, Australia, and Mexico are. When I was researching others to include, I was surprised how unique the American system is. They come closest, but all the others are highly centralized and the federalism they have is very basic, its easier to describe them as being subdivided much like counties are in the US than as sovereign states like the US.

But I wouldn't let that stop others, I decided early on that Brazil and other more centralized federalist nations are better left to others.

Ever considered adding Cuba? Suggesting due to its former status as a U.S territory and relative proximity to Florida.

Then again, you could always allow people to create seperate "add-on" mods for SuperStates that could very well include new countries such as Cuba, the Caribbean states, or Brazil.

I left the Caribbean empty so that it can be colonized and while adding new nations would be fun, I opt against it to not saturate all the available land with nations.

You should add Nauru and Fiji as independant countries, that would be cool, since it would be funny if nauru took over all of north america XD

I'm going to eventually impliment the Extended Timeline province histories so the game is going to end up having a number of new countries in the later bookmarks.

Now that I think about it, I will likely in the future probably in the summer or fall, add the the Brazilian States as playable.

I fear that you would heavily damper colonization opportunities if you added Brazilian states, but that's just my two cents.
