It may work as a model, just thinking of the fact that the developers don't want to break the TF2 style of artwork. (It being a bit realistic)

it looks like the RPG from half life. U should give it a description that hints it being from half life.

To be honest, this looks to me like a scoped M136 AT4, with a pistol grip assembly. The similarity to Half-Life 2's RPG is due to the fact that HL2's rocket launcher is also based on the AT4, with a pistol grip, laser guidance, reloadability (the real AT4 is a 1-shot throwaway), and being backwards (it fires out of the exhaust tube, and sends exhaust out of the barrel).

It is based on the AT4 disposable Rocket launcher

The entire half life series has a habit of using disposable rocket launchers as reloadable missile launchers

The HL1 RPG is the German Armbrust with added bits and bobs

The HL2 RPG is also the AT4 a swedish design, a fun fact about the half life version gordon is holding the weapon backwards, this model is facing the right way therefore this is not based on the HL2 RPG but based on the AT4 directly

either way its going to look a hell of a lot like the HL2 RPG the AT4 fires the exact same rockets as the hl2 rockets which are extremely iconic
