The crosshair is not displayed in the sight

that's odd...
you mean that when you aim with the scope mounted there's just nothing?

sound like a texture loading issue or the game unable to display it... the first thing i would try to fix this is deleting your "cache" folder inside gmod files...

go to your installation path for gmod, it depends on where you chose to install it in the fisrt place, but usually the default path is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod
once there, just delete the folder named cache and start the game

oh, and remember to do this with the game closed!
