Bug Report / Feedback Thread

MAC/LINUX/STEAMDECK CRASH ISSUE(s):
The most recent patch to the workshop version should allow OpenGL systems to load the level. Another OpenGL crash caused by decal projection onto the bombsite prop has also been fixed.
Please report any other crashes on OpenGL here, preferably with steps to reproduce it. Thanks.

CLIPPING/ALPHA SORTING BUGS:
All reported clipping issues should be fixed now.

PERFORMANCE ISSUES:
A new patch to fix collision-model related performance issues has been applied as of 8/12/2022. Currently there are no future plans to improve performance further besides possibly editing the underlying visibility calculations across the level; visuals have mostly been reverted to the original release (as of 10/4/2022) as to help maintain the visual identity of the map (this comes with a slight perf drop).

KNOWN ISSUES:
- Hard crashes on OpenGL systems (Fixed all known crashes.)
- Alpha sorting issues on smokes (Removed sprites, particles, and other visual FX.)
- Clipping bugs (Fixed all known clipping issues.)
- Small visual bugs
- A few areas are under performant

This little stairs near bombsite seems like having clipping issue, you can get stuck sometimes walk over like this

This area can get very low FPS (and there are a few others). Pretty sure this is caused by some models having way too high poly collision models

1. It seems to me that it is necessary to reduce the site area and leave it only within the iron part. 2. At the entrance to the hall with an open ceiling, from the T side, there is an invisible lattice model that prevents, for example, throwing a grenade. 3. To the left of the T spawn there are stones without collision. 4. At spawn T, you can see that the car is flying. 5. If you throw grenades from the side of the platform on a small pile of stones, then they behave somehow strangely. 6. I think you need to move the car into the SWAT area a bit so the player can more clearly understand where the map borders are. Yeah I believe it's some weird shader thing going on. I'd need to be in touch with Valve so they can debug it, but don't know if that'll happen.
