Maybe like willow, she regenerates sanity around bees?

Beatrice is fun, But she is underpowered. She is really only useful for people who dont like to fight. Sure, Her bee's are OP, but she is not. She needs more sanity. She cant sleep, cant eat meat, cant go into caves, etc. It limits gameplay with her by a lot. I personally hope she gets buffed, not nerfed. For all of you people out there who think beatrice is OP, Please read all of the info and play 80+ Days on her.

What i am trying to share is, Is i want beatrice to have a small sanity boost around bee's. I also think we should be able to configure it so we can choose if she can sleep or not, Because its a bit sad that she can't sleep.

I know I said I wouldn't address anyone who obviously didn't read the information but please reread it and follow the link to the FULL description. Specifically, read/reread the section covering The Reenforcement Antenna. It's been there the whole time.

As far as the whole issue with Beatrice being significantly weaker than her bees, that's the point. Her bees are her greatest strength but also her greatest weakness. The objective is to be their leader, NOT to be better than them. Yeah, you can play as any other character, go into the caves and get all the greatest weapons and armors and everything that makes you the strongest whatever, whereever, essentially turning yourself into a chunk of flesh aimlessly bobbing around somewhere inside a huge suit of stone, metal and spikes. But allowing that to happen would completely undermine the entire purpose of Beatrice. As Beatrice, YOU are the fragile, weak, unstable entity and your bees are struggling to keep YOU alive. Only if you're good enough, can you then lead your bees to victory, and ultimately, global conquest. It's your intelligence and leadership skills that help determine your outcome. Not your ability to hit things with various forms of sticks.

Besides, like I said, you can already become OP as ♥♥♥♥ with any other character. I'm not interested in turning Beatrice into another generic, cookie-cutter, character mod. Saying you like Beatrice but want her to be stronger than her collection of bees, means you probably don't like Beatrice and instead just want a "bees + OP character" mod. And if that is what you want, then great I hope you find it, but that's not what I'm making.

Now I don't want to drag this out into a great big, week-long debate. I've said my piece, and if you disagree with my point of view, that's fine. There's nothing wrong with disagreeing. But I've got a lot to do, so I probably won't have much time to respond, but feel free to speak your mind anyways.

Regardless of what happens, thank you for using Beatrice.

THIS MOD OF PERFECTION MUST BE PREPARED FOR DONT STARVE TOGETHER!!....I have seen your comment in reguards to bringing her to DST, and i see your problem, BUT....everything about her will shine and excel in every aspect.... she has both early game and late game strengths, she is a lethal fighter AND survivalist, and will become an awesome team carry when playing with friends.... i can see many youtubers picking her up and becoming even somewhat popular with her. once again, i have read your problems reguarding your linux, however i feel the need to remind and reinforce you to bring her to DST. mr Mouse, i bow down to you as my new MOD GOD, i bow down to you and will become your follower , and manly tears of joy will fall when she becomes playable in DST i will be anxiously awaiting your reply to this comment. please keep up your amazing work and i hope your having a nice day! It's because they're hallucinations. Only the player can see and interact with them. And her sanity is so low because most monsters emit a negative sanity drain aura. The idea is to let Beatrice's bees do most of the fighting while Beatrice does the old "sting and move" procedure.

Would it be possible to make the thing with all your bees coming out and attacking when any bees are attacked nearby configurable? My killer bees keep attacking tentacles when I go to gather reeds, and it's consistently resulting in all my bees dying.

And I was wondering, do only monsters from the caves come up, or from the ruins as well? And when do the more powerful ones start? Love this character, but I would like to know if, say, the Ancient Guardian or anything like that will ever come up so I can be prepared.

Oh, and to the OP on this discussion- the More Realistic Honey mod is your friend when playing Beatrice, as are those bee-filled biomes you find sometimes.

Have you tried clicking the "Call Daughters Home" button? I updated it a while ago so you only have to click it once and bees obey it much more consistently now.

I have, but it doesn't seem to help if one of my other bees (most often a killer I have following me) is under attack at the time.

Hello there [.#!].mouse I think that you should cheek out the Rubees mod made by Annelmeye for a possible idea to have a underground type Beatrice for it is very interesting to have a crystal type of bee that beatrice can have. I hope that you have a look at it.

here's an idea i just thought up after accidentally crafting the razor... why not have her hair or combs grow like the beards for wilson and webber! i dont know if putting a more length=more combs would be balanced on beeatrice though. love the mod as is though <3 gj

DST Comp.

It would be so nice if she was able to level up after doing all actions with bees, honey production etc, and each level up would make her little faster, stronger or increase her health/sanity etc. And at certain level, she would gain access to powerful items, like "Bee Queen's crown" Helmet or something else...
