Playing the Trishula, I've noticed a few things that could be ironed-out.

  1. None of the Diving Suit Lockers are powered. Hooking them up would allow them to passively refill the O2 tanks of any suits stowed in there.
  2. Same goes for the extra Diving Suit Lockers placed behind the ladders, and the O2 tank shelf below each.
  3. Also the top O2 tank shelf just to the left of the O2 Generator doesn't seem to refill tanks placed in it.
  4. It looks like there's some AI pathfinding issues with the ship's Bilges. Every time the pumps in the Bilges need repairs (and I have an AI set to fix broken machines), the AI can't hop down and get to the to fix them. could be a waypoint issue.
  5. Similarly, if you're transporting personnel, they'll often get stuck on the front ladder leading from cargo to the armory if you've kept it locked. Not sure how to solve that, as the AI needs to navigate when the door is opened, but leaving it closed is a much better idea to contain flooding, or to keep players/AI out of the weapon lockers.

Lastly, the sub tends to blackout for a few seconds when suddenly accelerated at high speed, like when leaving port at full speed or pulling hard combat maneuvers. This seems to more a piece of character for the sub than anything; it's stubborn cargo sub rather than one built for tight maneuvering. Upgraded reactor power cuts down the blackout time, so it might be that the reactor is undersized, and can't generate enough power when there's a large, sudden power draw.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry I saw this so late, I wasn't notified for some reason. Better late than never I suppose. When I get time, I'll look into addressing some of these concerns. I personally like to leave some things up to the crew to rewire sometimes, which is why the diving lockers are not powered. But I'll look into some of the shelves not working. And yes, the engine - reactor relationship is intended to add character, granted, I may have gone a little overboard w/ that. So I'll look into potentially adjusting that too.
