does it still work?

I did everything that was written in this whack manual but it still doesn't work and I have DLL required so I come with a question (if anyone answers it) whether this mod still works and if so could you make a guide or explain it to me?

necroposting a bit but if you still want this try it on the prerelease "and as you said you followed the manual so just do the same thing again but on pre release beta" didn't work on chromium for me.
