In case of wars outside your own empire (independent ruler) you can call your vassals to war with this contract, if they agree. (Of course, they must have this tradition in their culture).

Current: 100 gold can be a lot and a little, capturing champions or courtiers can be rewarding.
You have to decide for yourself how much to participate in the war.

The war participation of 100 seems possibly too little (e.g. conquered a county or fought a troop, already you can stop fighting)
