There IS a way, although I'm not sure how to fully execute it. Someone has to change one line in the source code for the installer and build the installer. The only reason why it doesn't work on anything but windows/windows version, is because it only checks for a file called "hl2.exe" which is the game for windows, while it's called "hl2.sh" on linux. I would do it myself, but I don't know how to build the installer at all. Maybe making a dummy file and renaming it "hl2.exe" will be the only way to do it as of now, although, I'm not sure if the dummy file trick would work since I didn't look that hard at the code.

DUMMY FILE WORKS!! Make a copy of one of the text files and renaming it entirely to "hl2.exe" works. If you try it, make sure the naming is blank, then rename it tp "hl2.exe".
