Suggestions
This isn't a perfect mod yet, so it would be nice to hear your suggestions for countries I have missed out (Scandinavia, Low Countries etc).

Not exactly a country suggestion (I hope you don't mind!) But how about a version compatible with MEIOU & Taxes? I had to play around with the ship assets file to get it to work nicely, but it really adds something wonderful! If it's already so, please ignore this post :)

I haven't tested, but I think it should be compatible. If there are any new nations in M&T then I can also add them to this no problem.

Yes, using those awesome men-at-arms with their tabards et al is something that I would really like to do above all else.

However, they can't use dynamic colouring shader like the newer unit packs. Remaking them would involve making a new texture for every single country that uses them, as well as releasing modified mesh files.

There are several cons to this:
Paradox frowns on mods of DLC which don't require the DLC itself.
It is a LOT of work for me.
It would increase the filesize a lot.

There are mods out there that have attempted to do this, so I can look into compatibility with them.

An alternative would be making these 100 Years War infantry also used as the cavalry riders by their respective country.

the low countries could use the hansa units for now (although they will almost certainly get their own unit pack with res publica)

I was thinking of maybe mix-and-matching the Hansa and French units to suit the Low Countries. Level 1 Hansa, Level 2 French etc etc

that might be a good idea, to make them feel a little more unique.
The knights and jerusalem are also good canidates for the genoa units
danzig should use hansa units (being a hanseatic city itself)
not sure if the united states already have unique units, but otherwise they could also use the british colonial units
do the latin american countries (post colonial) use spanish colonial units?

Knights and Jerusalem - good idea.
Danzig - sure why not
US has unique units from American Dream.
Latin America - was planning on using Spanish but didn't get round to it.

How about giving Castille/Spain aragonese units instead of their colonial ones? They look much better IMO.

Agreed and noted. Though with 3 different unit sets, I do quite like the diversity in Iberia right now. Maybe Spain could have the fancy Aragon units, and the surrounding nations have the more humble colonial units?

this ugly hansa 2 and 4 spritelevel units is so terrible, you d better leave normal vanilla units ther or take french colonial or english. Same problem with 3 spritelevel of italian units - they are just silver without colour. And muscowian/nowgorod 1 spritelevel units are in trouble too - i changed this strange halberds (russians never used them, they used bardishes (like big axes)) to eastern_spear. But, actually , i m not sure is this all are in you r mod or its just troubles with mixing your mod and my own old changes xD Sry for bad English

There is nothing wrong with Hansa 2 and Hansa 4.

I thought the Italian 3 bug that you are talking about was fixed by Paradox months ago, I don't know why you still have that problem.

I think before the Indian units pack Sind and Delhi had their own unique units. (at least for level 1) Also, perhaps the Mughal or Muslim Indian units could be used for some of the lesser Persianates (Khorasan, Afghanistan) and/or central Asian turkic nations, since a lot of those nations were persianized.

Also note that Persia itself has unique units (for level 2 on land, but has HoTC calvary for all levels I believe) The level 2 footsoldier resembles the Zand-era military out of all eras.
