Recently, closet scammers and phishers have started using my collection to steal your data. They disguise phishing links as my collection and send instructions on how to vote for it. I do appreciate their unfathomable efforts to promote my items but You risk having your account credentials compromised.

If you have already clicked the link, do not enter your account details, and as a precaution, change your password immediately and enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication).

If you encounter a similar situation, take screenshots of your conversation and contact Steam Support as soon as possible to report the account: Steam Support Instruction .

I also recommend filing a complaint and leaving negative trust feedback on backpack.tf, a site many traders use to check for scammers who haven’t been banned yet.

Unfortunately, I can't fix this situation myself, but Valve can. Stay safe!

Yup same it happened to me and instantly reported it and blocked it

some guy already tried this earlier. ended up tracing him down with little effort.

I might've clicked on the link, but Steam reminded me I was going to an external website, so I immediately went to Team Fortress 2. It looks like I am okay since all of my ideas are still with me, tho I had to change my password quickly to make sure that person doesn't go through Steam Guard.
