well it;s only logical :),however the heat amount (benefit) should be small, +5 degrees maybe?
Also to further add functionality to the gas lantern (might be out of scope of this mod) say you got a gas lantern + a new item could be added to the game so that you can convert the lantern into a small cooker/food heater? you would loose the ability to be "enlightened" but would gain means to prepare some food in the wilderness.
