Compability with Kingdom of Macedon
As it turns out, the Kingdom of Macedon mod has a legacy <time> section in its config file, which causes the timed scripts not to work properly. We had the same issue with the CW mod until SGZ removed that line. You could still make it work if you manipulate your local installation.

If you want to do this, then go to the Kingdom of Macedon mod (steam/steamapps/worksho/content/308173/642499554) and then to resources/scenarios/kingdomofmacedon/kingdomofmacedon.xml.

Open this file and delete the following lines
<time>
<day>40.3011</day>
</time>
Save. Now it should work.
