As for the Russian translation, it is simply because I cannot write Russian. I have been able to get by with machine translation and Wikipedia for additional entries that are just words or people's names, but when it comes to long event sentences, etc., I think the job is too much for machine translation (especially when variables are included in the sentence).
I may be able to provide a new Russian translation if you would be willing to accept a machine translation by someone who cannot read Cyrillic at all and whose variables may be in different positions, but I have decided that I would rather write the English as it is.
