nop,lucky coin can only boost common coin gains.
if a lucky coin is count as a coin i think it will be unbalance. it's too easy to get money.
i have used the lucky coin by my self.only one lucky may not useful. but how about 2 or 3?
the lucky coin need to cooperate with others. you have mentioned
King Midas, he can boost the coins you have.then remove him.
the lucky coin isn't very powerful. but a good use will make it easier to drive away the landlord.

[not symbols can boost the gain, like arrows, gain capsule …]
5-7 coins is better )
(if you dont , 8-10 coins is better).
also,use symbols like arrows to boost ther gain.

i tried with 3 lucky coins and about 6 coins, 6 arrows it was easy to win(but maybe not easy to get these symbols, especially the lucky coin)

if you(and others)think it hard to get the lucky coin , you can edit the rarity of it
(at the folder of the game's workshop)

i played maybe 10 runs and never saw lucky coin. not sure if its conflicted with other mods, or if its a rarity problem

you can change the rarity into common and you can get it easier
i can get the lucky coin and it can mork successfully
