Should be easy enough to fix.
That's an odd thing to happen since I never messed with ascension perks for this mod. Do you have any other mods installed when this happened?
What was the name of the Ascension Perk?
Unfortunately, I can't really guarantee that this mod will be compatible with every mod, so you have to find out which is causing the issue. Which mod had the biological ascension perk?
I'm sure you have your plate full right now but, their is a bug if you use the "scorn trait", and i think any destiny 2 "species trait" IE cable,scorn,eliksni..... where if you don't pick the origin, but do pick the trait the game will crash when you select your first tradition. I don't know how easy it will be to fix, so instead I'm requesting you make the civics available for every government type including hive-minded and machine intelligence that way you can select the required civic and required origin, because again I don't know how easy it would be to fix the species trait to make them stand alone.
FYI i'm trying to play a hive minded scorn/darkness empire that uses few but incredible powerful pyramid ships, with the bulk of my fleets being the new organic amoebas that hive-minds gain access to with the new "cordyceptic drones" civic, that and because I cant use the scorn origin i'm using the overtuned origin
Ok, I tested out your problem by going through the steps you described and I haven't encountered any crashes on my end. I picked several traditions when using an empire that had one of the destiny traits without using the origins and it didn't crash.
However, since I don't have the Toxiods dlc, I can't test run the overtuned origin. I can only use the new cordyceptic drones civic and I haven't encountered a problem with it so far.
Regarding the Scorn civic, I'll remove the gestalt restriction so you can use it with the hive mind authority.
The first one being that the fallens country flag is completley replaced by a random one after loading any savefile I made with that faction. So far this is the only mod faction were I encountered that issue.
The second bug is with army names. It's pretty minor and not too immersion breaking. The numbers are without st, nd, etc. So instead of having "1st" there is just "1 ".
If you're using the prescripted empire, it can be from an invalid color setting which can happen sometimes. Until I fix it, re-selecting the flag and colors you want and saving it usually fixes the problem.
I'm aware about the army names. I think Paradox changed the localisation for armies again in the update.
Both Fallen rebellions had instances where a planet or habitat with the "Spreading Turbulence" modifier (which flags which planets will join the separatist nation) was in a system with another planet or habitat that didn't; however, I used console commands to remove said modifiers and the crash continued to happen.
Additionally, I noticed that the bottom of my error logs usually had an error relating to a Hive or Vex start event, although I'm not sure whether its related (Worth noting that I consistently saw "hive_start.12", which supposedly triggers when a Lucent Brood Throne World is invaded, even though I have no Lucent Brood empires in the game).
I'm looking into it. I'll let you know when I get a chance to do a test run.
I see. Thanks for letting me know. Also, I've updated the hive mod to fix the Lucent Brood deposit issue.
