Poor NAV - Bad Clips
to any mapper - Use clip texture not player clip texture in counter strike maps.

there should be no nav tiles outsied of the map where players cannot get.

this has since been fixed and the discussion can be closed/removed.

Bots are already stupid, and now a days every one is a "mapper". It would be nice to see them spent a little extra time buttioning up details on a map. Most will atleast do place names, but you might be suprized how many mappers dont even really know about the NAV file. The Map is getting spammed and i'm sure players are going to try it - it should come correct.

Thank you for your comment, I have manually placed in deathmatch spawns around the map and will be including them in the next update. The nav mesh will need manually editing at some point, it's such a long and soul-destroying task that I'm waiting until the map's layout is finalised before doing that and adding in names for locations (I'd like to see if any form naturally in-game so I can include them).

Update? Isnt this for the CEVO contest? Meaning its final now? Im curious myself as there are a few things I need to modify. (UI etc...)

ham5, where would I need to put the clip texture to stop the nav mesh from generating without messing up any grenades thrown in the map?

3kliksphilip i'm following your work since years and learned very much from your videos on Youtube. I thinks this map looks pretty good so far and has good chances to become part of the Valve MapPack (Operations) when its finished.!

You can also manually edit the nav file, go ingame, sv cheats 1, nav_edit 1, then use the different nav_ commands to modify the nav_ file.

There is a tutorial at the valve developer wiki about this.

Edit: gotta read the posts first! but hey, it only takes like 5 minutes to make the bots not try to walk through railings and holes in houses or walls in some cases.

Zelz, the gamebanana contest is separate as far as I'm concerned. They can use the version on gamebanana but for steam workshop I'm keen to continue changing and improving this map.l
