well the cow mangler was actually paintable for the duration of an hour valve was testing it and accidently released it

Valve accidentally left the Cow Mangler paintable for a very short amount of time. Then it was impossible, and now the painted ones are worth tons of money. That was the only paintable weapon, and it was completely accidental. This shouldn't be paintable either.

How bout it matches the gloves of the Red and Blu teams engineer, so red would be like red orange and blu would be yellowish.

No, if valve didn't want a paintable Cow Mangler, they certainly don't want paint-able nail gun.
