Hi, I was the one who gave the feedback for the nerf.

It was nerfed because as I pointed out, once you reach tier 2 deadzone, compound becomes a breeze and basically makes adamantine a joke. On a good 2 filter run, you can expect 30 compound if you know a route. Add to that if you kill even just 1 informant zombie, thats 6 free bars, nevermind if you find 2 or 3 of them.

It makes the mines redundant, and it was overall too easy to get via the barter. Irridium is never a cause for concern if you scrap AP shells or ammo belts, or even get an airdrop, and charcoal is well, charcoal.

Basically, in a TL:DR. The barter was busted, maybe not at first glance, but compared to all other methods, the barter was overall too OP
