Troubleshooting
If the decals don't work, here are the reasons why and how to fix them. Please post any other questions or concerns here. If you have a feature request, make a discussion and I'll reply when I have a chance.

1. You may have an addon with conflicting decal replacement files. Unsubscribe from the addon and enter "menu_cleanupgmas" into the Console from the Main Menu. If that doesn't work, check your 'garrysmod/garrysmod/addons' folder and remove any old addons.

2. You may have decal replacement files hardcopied in your garrysmod/garrysmod/materials/decals folder. Simply delete them.

3. You may have to restart Steam. This is the most common issue with decal addons, they often require a Steam restart. That's all!

they work but I can only have one or two of them at a time, ive tried "r_decals 4096", "r_maxmodeldecals 9000" <which fixes problem for vanilla decals but not these. pls am running out of brain cells

It's rare that I encounter that issue, but I've had it happen with pretty much every decal replacement at least once. Usually, it has something to do with the map I'm playing on. Beyond that, I'm not sure what else would cause it.

damn, i wasnt even playing any modded maps, just construct. well thanks ive already abandoned trying im going to just use the vanilla decals with a modded splatter decal.

I have this issue which occurs to me with any blood mod of yours, one of the blood textures appears as a very large square filled with the same vanilla blood texture. If it confuses you, I could provide a screenshot, if you know what that is then please tell me how to fix this

Same as above, large square and splash decals are missing textures. I've tried several mods, validated files, etc etc. Decals folder doesn't exist in the gmod directory so that's not an option for me.

So, i have a strange issue where blood decals become a weird big smudge when on NPCs.

What i mean by that is, everytime i shoot an NPC, this happens:

I also went back, disabled all my addons, and enabled this one, and here are the results:

As i said before, the blood decals that are supposed to be showing up on the NPCs for some reason get resized by 10, or something. That's all i can make out of what's happening with the decals.
