It would be great to be able to switch between forward/backward and up/down for the length of the line.

the mode hasn't been working for a while (ever since the last update) I'm sure your aware but still figured I'd put this here just in case.

Looking back I figured I should be more specific. So basically the UI menu (for me at least) didn't work until I deleted the mod files, unsubbed, resubbed, and reinstalled BUT then the rigging tool its self didn't seem to work, its like its trying to do what I want but it bugs out and doesn't, like the rope will pop up BUT it wont be where it should be nor will it be the length that's needed for it to be here to there. It will work a little if the distance is extremely short but that about it, I'd estimate beyond 5 in game meters the mod will not know how to extend the rope to something longer and bugs out as a result. The UI Menu itself does have all the options though but again if the two positions are farther than like 5 meters it'll bug out and not know what to do and as a result, the rope WILL be there but not where it should be and just kinda floating there in the middle of nowhere and not at the length designated by the two positions. Hope this helps.

so if you completely uninstall and reinstall it it does work, but as mentioned it doesn't work as it should anymore

if the distance is too long it will place between them and not extend the full length, and if you try segmented mode, segments after the first x amount (depending on length) will just run parallel with the latest one instead of extending the rope

maybe someone can pick this up and figure out what's going on? seems like the author hasn't checked in in a long time
