How to use Ch-47 properly?

After i spawn the Ch-47 and try to air drop troops, those goobers are just falling from the sky without equiping parachute, is there any way to play the Ch-47 properly?, like where can equipe parachute or even land the Ch-47 ( as the code considered the Ch-47 as " plane " ) or is it just a bug waiting to be fixed?
