oil is in the tree that leads to the banshee camp. there is a huge ramp leading down the tree and there is oil at its base.

Around this spot. There is about 10 nodes for oil. When you enter the tree cave, at the bottom before you enter the caves. You will see some there at the bottom of the ramp inside.

If you need Organic Polymer, go down into the large Banshii tree, down the path that leads towards the lava area, the one with the Extinction-style streets and streetlights. In this area look for the plants that resemble a glowing egg on a stick, covered in swirls. These will give you Organic Polymer when you harvest them by hand.
