Multiple ores will cause the ores added by the calamity to not be applied correctly.
When I turned on multiple ores such as Aerialite Ore, could not trigger the chain. Even though the lower left corner showed that this item was in the whitelist, it still did not work. At the same time, Charred Ore in Hell, even if I already have a good enough pickaxe, I can't dig it out. I can only dig out a piece when I swing the pickaxe while moving, which is obviously abnormal.

I'd need demos or log files to confirm the issue. For now, resetting your configs back to default should amend all issues.

I have the same problem, I've reset my configs and it doesn't fix it, when i try to mine calamity ores its just doesn't let me as if I have a weaker pick, and if I am able to mine the ore the chain doesn't get applied at all

Calamity ores are not affected by the ore multiplier. This is a known issue as Calamity does not add their ores to the global ore list... for whatever reason. This may be a related issue to that, but in theory this should actually prevent it from interacting in this way. I've had no issues with Calamity ores and multipliers, but I'll do some testing and release a fix, hopefully soon!
