Same issue purple square of doom!!!
Somebody should do a gag mod that is the purple square of doom as a creature and you get a purple leather for butchering.

I am no modder and can only contribute the following:

- navigate to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2553700067\Textures\Animal
- look for Rox_east
- simply copy it into the same folder
- rename the copy to Dessicated_Rox
- profit!

It´s at least a temporarly solution, better than pink boxes i guess but still not "visually" dessicated and no error message.
You can however draw your own dessicated Rox or wait until the devs put their version into the game.

I will wait for this fix to be implemented my luck I would kill my game trying to fix one pink box....
