Think about it, when they get knocked back you can hit them less times. Plus it attacks slower than the stock fists.
+Looks cool
+Makes an eviction notice sound
+Uses less of your screen
+Slightly more stealthy than the fish
-Costs a ♥♥♥♥-ton to buy off the store, like all other items
-Isn't the fish
-Doesn't spam killfeed every time you hit someone
-Not jiggleboned
+10% damage
-50% swinging speed
Happy?
-30(-40)% slower firing speed
-On Miss: Hit yourself, idiot
But when one considers what a scout could do with -real- melee crits, the weapon becomes all the more viable. When it comes down to it, this weapon should not be in the melee slot, but instead in the secondary slot, or hell, perhaps even the primary slot. It should give a small health boost, similiar to the pocket pistol, but should be utilized in combat due to it's special abilities. I would think a stun mechanism when used on an enemy's back would make some sense, and with it's slower firing speed it might not be too op'd. But really I would like to see this weapon get totally blown out of proportion and infact made into new melee mechanics, such as the scout receiving temporary speed buffs to swing speed and movement speed when landing hits with this weapon, perhaps even receiving minicrits like the Sodapopper, based on movement and damage perhaps. Cut the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out that the Sodapopper had with it being only determined by movement, this weapon should have two requirement bars, one for movement and one for damage and they could interrelate in that when the movement bar is full, you will only need 1-2 hits to fill the melee bar. But if both bars are empty, than it would take 5-6 melee hits to receive the minicrits.
And so ontop of that, as the scout delivers damage, be it minicrits or no, he would receive a burst of attack and movement speed, mostly unnoticeable at first, but it would slowly ramp up to a maximum at about 7 successful attacks, granting him a 15 percent increase to melee speed and a 10-18 percent increase in movement speed for the duration of 30 seconds... so it'd be similiar to crit chance ramp up.
-makes suggestive motions at his creation-
I'd do it.
Math? Logic? Is this still TF2?
+Deals crits when victim is stunned
-No Randow Crits
-Slower Swinging speed
