I’ll check this out today
I'm gonna see if I can have Taranchuk look into it, and maybe if he fixes that it'll also correct the strangeness you're having. If you want to help me out, make a new mod profile where it's basically vanilla + save maps and see what kind of issue you end up with when loading a map with moving water.

Also, every member of my ex colony is a member of an other faction:

In order to have a chance at fixing this, I need to be able to reliably reproduce it in a vanilla setup. So can you tell me the exact steps you took when this bug occurred? Mostly, I need to know what button you saved the old map with and what button you loaded it with. The more information that helps me reproduce it, the better
I used the option to save pawns, animals and the items along with the building within the home area. I then started a new game with quite a bit more mods and a bigger map (i switched to the largest map from the second largest) and loaded the map, which did just that and then i recruited and tamed all my previous pawns and animals as they were spawned as not-recruited/tamed. some of the mods i added did change some pawn behaviours but what they changed were things like pawns using their fire extinguishers and the like. nothing major like adding the Common Sense mod which i was already using.
