Custom Damage Types
Using this with Divinity Unleashed Overhaul causes combat Delay
There appears to be an issue between the the mods that is causing a delay for enemy attacks. There is from 2-10 seconds where the enemy will just stand there and do nothing before finally using a skill. Turning Custom Damage Types off fixes the issue, or turning Divinity Unleashed off fixes it as well. Any idea to get rid of the delay but use both?

It sounds like you're describing an AI skill value calculation issue. I'm not sure what would be causing this as CDT doesn't try to mess with the AI calculation behavior directly, and I don't think DU does either. The overwhelming majority of CDT's calculations occur as a hit lands and not during the calculation process before, which leads me to believe that it may not be related to how these mods calculation their damage edits, but something else instead.

Did you try turning Luminary off but leaving CDT enabled? There may be a certain type of skill that is present on both Luminary and DU that is causing the AI a lot of grief. It would help to know what the AI does after the longer delays vs the shorter delays. If you could send me your save, that would be a big help too. You can find saves in this directory:
