Patched Environment Pinger has virus I think
A while ago a guy named Kipper made a mod that spammed chat whenever you joined and Klei had to game ban him. I think the guy who made the patched version put something like that in his mod.

I would be careful downloading it.

This is a false claim. My mod contains zero obfuscated lines, you can have another modder read the code for you and confirm that there is no ill intention behind.

All DST workshop mods are open source. All you have to do is subscribe, go to your workshop items folder, and open the lua file in an editor. Its not rocket science. The guy who "made the virus mod" had his source code readable too.
Personally, I do not believe your claim about your intents.
