Mullberry and Silk
Helloes,

I'm having trouble getting my silk production to work. I use CC, actually, the mega mod from the forums, but for some reason, the silk huts added by this here mod don't recognize their mullberry leafs as propper resource. I put CC above the Japanese stuff, but still no luck. Silk also doesn't work with the Kimono tailor, but rice is recognized as rice, regardles from where it comes.

Any suggestions? It's nothing vital I know, but I'd like to use as many aspects of your awesome work as possible.

Hmm, I will have to look into it. The silk from the my huts might be slightly different from the CC silk, which is why the kimono tailor won't take it, but the mulberry leaves should be the same.

I will have to investigate

When you play, do you get two types of silk/mulberry leaves (one that works and one that doesn't)? or only one?

One so far. The CC production lines run fine, the silk huts from your mod don't do anything, sadly. If there is another type of mulberry, I do not know. I tired to import them in hopes to find the "right" type, but I just ended up with thousand tons of worm food, but no kimonos.

I can't figure out how to get the silk to work at all. Do I just need to grow mulberry trees? How do the silk worms work?

Hi Allblight, the silk shed uses mulberries (grown in the mulberry tree orchard) to produce silk. In order to build the silk shed, you need silkworm eggs. You can get silkworm eggs from the trader, or use the start condition that gives you them at the building. The start condition is in the All In One Japanese Mod, not in the Miscellaneous alone.
