got this log repeatedly at a regular interval, and it was causing the game to freeze for a second each time it occured, with autopause off. no idea what caused it as i hadnt had issues with it before, but it may have been because it was trying to do a medic job on a modified animal

What's your modlist? You can use HugsLib to generate a proper error report, which helps a ton when troubleshooting issues like this.

Potential Bug or small incompatibility with the Crash Landing mod by GwinnBleidd. Should you run the mod added scenario and a plague weapon of any kind is dropped into the map through the crash landing event. The weapon in question does not properly set the instigator for the mechanite plague. So anyone who uses these weapons will always create bursters aligned with the mechanite hive rather than their own faction.

Pawns that have their sleep need removed (such as the gene never sleeps from biotech) will have their mechalich hediff removed just after it is added.

Pure Driders have no Ai for the various commands in the mechanitor work groups. they only wander and refuse to go charge. this seems to be a general issue with modded mechanoids not being patched to work with biotech correctly, so more of an incompatability than a bug i suppose. no error logs are generated, they just dont react to work mech group setting

Pure driders wont charge for me either, same problems as poster above on my end.

Ok turns out normal pure drider you can make through the gestator functions fine and as intended, its when you use the psycast to upgrade a pure burster to a pure drider that the issue comes up. Unless thats intended, which the spell should be reworded.

Ah, that helps out a lot, actually! I think I've discovered the cause of the issue, so I'll see about fixing that... tomorrow? Maybe a few balance adjustments, too.

(Probably) after last update mechalich hediff forces to rsists any pawn from taking food or drug-meds. It's breaking every part of GUI where can be shown action with consuming (inventory/caravan/by force)

Do you have a HugsLib log? It's really hard to deduce what went wrong with just an exception alone.

It seems that the mechalich hediff breaks caravans, with just this, psycast expanded, and character editor, if you send a mechalich in a caravan it makes things unclockable, the gizmos disappear and it only appear a blue box in their place, error log on pastebin https://pastebin.com/zMxt7Jxe (hugslibs give me errors when trying to post to github, so i had to copy to clipboard)
