All the operation maps are competitive play style maps,they wont add fun-gamemode like maps,Valve only adding realistic competitive maps,like Crown.But i agree with you they should add those maps.

Same, I hope they don't because it would ruin the actual concept of ranks, and seeing how ♥♥♥♥ valve servers are, I'd just stick with the community ones for custom maps.

You're not understanding them. They are saying they don't want it. And I agree with them. Waste of money to buy a pass for something we can get for free on public servers. It'd be a waste.

Of course they wouldn't. But I really think Valve is focusing too much on the Competitive game mode. We have yet to see any Operation including Demolition or Arms Race maps. The workshop has plenty of them, and I would really like to see Valve put in AR and Demolition and maybe even custom gamemodes like this into free Operations. This should not give you access to free Coins whatsoever, just a free pass that you will get whenever they release the Operation. The reason why I think it should be free, is because not a whole bunch would pay for maps you could play on public servers, without gaining anything but a little coin. It would be smart to put them in the future coming Operations, but making no profit whatsoever. I think it's really important that there is still that procentage amount of money that the Competitive mappers will get for having their map in the game, if not, some mappers would begin to stop mapping, since they have a life next to mapping to deal with too. If they don't gain that extra money, it can be a pain in the ass for both mappers and the community.

I would like to note you can play any operation map without the pass, just not on valve dedicated servers.

The real question is... Will there be a new operation? Or just a new CS? I mean, Phoenix ends in june, and thats awfully close to the usual fall release date... Only time will tell. Although it is more probable that valve is working on portal 3/half-life 3 instead.

It´s an inovating idea of a map but if they use it it will be because the next operation will be all about fun-gamemode maps
