Crash/bug reports
Hi all! I do try to be as thorough as possible when coding, but it's impossible to catch every single bug on my own. A couple of people have already been super helpful reporting bugs in the comments, so I made a discussion for any new ones that get found, to keep things neat and tidy.

So far I only had problems with the sword, just like DimensionDragon. (Using only vanilla) Without any mods, when I tried to craft the sword it used the resources but didnt craft anything. With mods (Waiter 101, Emeralds, Clementine and two other mods that didnt worked) when i tried to craft the sword, the game got an error. Unfortunately I didnt saved the error description, but i remember it saying something about making inventory float or something like that?

Thanks for the deeper insight! What a strange occurrence. There shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary on the sword compared to other items in the game, I really wouldn't be able to say without the crash log. If you can, please make a screenshot of the error screen!

I think I've fixed it. Looks like one of the lines of code in the sword needed a check for whether or not you owned the DLCs that add water, since the sword can float! Strange though, because it kept working for me even though I had disabled all DLCs. Hopefully should be fixed now! :cozybrawlhalla1:

Hello, the game (tried both DS and RoG) crashes upon world generation. This happens with no other mods enabled. There is an error message that reads in part "...familiarsword_blueprint.lua:24: variable 'MakeInventoryFloatable' is not declared..."

Hey there, sorry about that. I changed some things not too long ago in order to make her sword's blueprint appear properly in the Linux version of Don't Starve, but it turns out I forgot to add the check for if the Hamlet or Shipwrecked DLCs are installed (that "floatable" thing the game was complaining about is only a thing in those).

Should be fixed now, thank you for reporting it and sorry again for the inconvenience!

Hello, it seems Gleam is buggy in Hamlet - if you cast it, then go through a door, the lil gleam orb will stay behind instead of following Flaire, forcing you to de-cast and re-cast to get it back (this is specially annoying in the pig ruins, since you're constantly going through doors).

Mod's awesome by the way. I've been trying to start games with other characters but I just get bored and go back to playing Flaire everytime =P

Hi, you are correct- Gleam didn't know what to do when moving through interiors before. I've fixed it in the latest update. And thank you for the kind words! It means a lot :luv:
