Rain is barely visible

Regardless what amount of precipitation I put, I can see the rain but it is barely noticeable. I gotta like squint to see it. And sometimes I just can't see it at all. This never happened to me before. I noticed that when I am in less intense areas it seems to rain more. It's like the particles are tied to my FPS or something.

They are tied to your FPS. Go to your singleplayer settings and change the targeted FPS to what you wish to play with, and SF2 will balance the settings.

This is made since people from SF1 refused to lookup settings or what I wrote in FAQ.
