How do I get my compy to ride my shoulder and not have me ride it?

is there a way to get any shoulder mount to be a shoulder mount in this mod? I've seen videos of it but I don't know if that feature was removed or if I am just doing something wrong

It's the unique saddle of the compys it's called shoulder cannon, use the ingame guide - > omega dex - > compy
