defuq are u on about it dosent matter if ur not on a 128 tick server and then it still dosent matter only the server can change the rate cl_cmdrate 128 only helps if ur playing a offline map

Your tick rate is server based, so you have to connect to a server running 128 tick, if you wish to host a private match with your friends simply use the command cl_cmdtickrate 128 or go into the community server browser connect to a 128 tick server and then start up a custom game and t will be running 128 tick, you can check a servers tick rate by enabling net graph.
