Last year the kids got the money, and they made a picture for ToTH. I really doubt anybody will keep the money, as a bunch of "big" people in the community are involved in this charity.

Yup, impossible, when Valve gives the money, it will go to his paypal, not the charity one, so there's a 99% of chance he'll keep that money, because everyone is greedy as ♥♥♥♥.

There's not a 99% he'll keep the money. Not everyone's just interested in making a buck for themselves. He might keep the money, yes, but he also might actually donate it like he says he will.
That being said, I don't think people should upvote this hat just because it's associated to a chairity. While I do think giving his profits away to those in need is an honorable thing to do, I don't feel that should have anything to do with the hat's quality and how well it'll fit into the game.

Well, neither are you really. Your entire argument is built upon hearsay. That really doesn't acomplish anything or convince anyone of anything. There's a reason why people expect facts out of these claims, because anyone can just say something and establish it as fact. If you really want top convince people not to buy this hat, then you have to show some evidence.
